Veronika Ferstl joins DeFi Startup Paycer as new Advisor

Paycer is proud to announce that Veronika “Vicky” Ferstl has joined our advisory board. As a business professional with years of experience in corporations such as Union Investment and FinTech start-ups, Veronika is the perfect addition to our growing team and will nurture our business vision with impactful insights and guidance.

You immediately feel that she is very passionate about blockchain technology and the DeFi space. Veronika has recently led the digital division of TEN31 Bank, a FinTech challenger bank. With obvious overlapping challenges, Paycer can benefit from the learnings of building the digital foundations and strategies to make a digital bank (neo-bank) successful.

Veronika was also leading the TEN31 Custody GmbH (crypto custody) as a managing director. She is very well connected within the banking and finance industry but also in the crypto space. Her broad network has already been helpful for Paycer as Veronika already brought us together with several interesting people.

After actively building up consulting company „1st Level“, she is now taking up her part time position as the product manager at Tangany in the Munich technology center. As a regulated company, Tangany provides crypto custody solutions for B2B clients. Tangany is the first and so far the only German company that received the crypto custody license from BaFin. And we’re so glad that we have the privilege of benefiting from Vicky’s experience in this area.

Veronika is also very experienced when it comes to regulatory and legal requirements for operating crypto and banking companies in Germany and the European Union. She knows the right consultants and lawyers to support the application for finance licenses. The expertise and network will help Paycer thrive as a CeDeFi company in Germany and the EU.
